intel, ati, nvidia sata drivers and integration on a xp cd.

As you know most of new notebooks have sata hdd’s.
We have to integrated sata drivers into xp cd if we want to install xp on a sata hdd.

Otherwise, our notebook could not recognize our hdd and we cant install xp.

We need those to complete our mission;

1. 1pcs empty cd. Use rewritable if possible.
2. Sata drivers (Password for unzipping is “www.notebook.gen.tr”)
   

   *  intel sata (achi) driver for windows xp 32bit (180.8 KiB, 409 hits)
   you have to add this driver in your xp setup cd. Password for unzipping is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

   *  intel sata (achi) driver for windows xp 64bit (214.5 KiB, 161 hits)
   intel sata (achi) driver for windows xp 64bit. Password for unzipping is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

   *  Ati sata (achi) driver for windows xp 32bit (114.3 KiB, 1,388 hits)
   Ati sata (achi) driver for windows xp 32bit. Password for unzipping is “www.notebook.gen.tr”

3. Microsoft .net framework. you can download it from here.
4. software which called Nlite. You can download nlite from here.

Please follow my instructions carefully to integrate sata drivers inyour xp cd.

1. Download and unzip sata drivers a folder. (My folders name is sata drivers)

2. Create a folder somewhere on your hard drive to copy the windows source files into. I called mine XP_Source but you can use whatever name you prefer. Just make sure there is adequate space on your hard drive to hold the files.
3. Copy the full content from the distribution cd into this folder
4. Start nLite.
5. Welcome screen shows you which version of nLite you are running and allows you to choose an alternate language. To continue click on Next.
6. We must now direct nLite to the folder which contains the windows installation files.
   To do this Click on Browse. And choose Xp_Source folder. Click next.

   

7. Click next without doing anything.
8. Chose driver and bootable ISO by mouse and click next.
9. Click insert single driver and choose iaachi.inf from you sata driver folder.
10. Select all drivers with shift or ctrl button and click OK an Next.
11. You will show a message “Do yo want to start the process”. Click Yes and wait.
12. Click next.
13. Mode: Direct burn , Label: write your own label , Burn speed: Write slowly 10x is enough. Then click next and finish.
